Home News Supply of drainage geocomposite CAPDRAIN at Hyderabad Municipal Solid Waste Dump Site Capping

During the 2019, INTERMAS NETS has been awarded with the winning tendering of its drainage geocomposites in the capping of Hyderabad Municipal Solid Waste Dump Site. This site, considered among the biggest ones in all Asia, covers more than 550.000 m2 with over 50 m of dump to be covered from the last 30 years and one of the main flagships of public and private renovation and cleaning policies developed in India (Swachh Bharat – Clean India Mission, World Bank fundings, etc.).

For this project a specially designed triplanar geonet drainage geocomposite has been supplied. CapDrain drainage geocomposite gives the requested topmost quality in terms of drainage capacity, resistance and durability. The geonet is made with 3 strands, whose geometry create channels with a high flow capacity, also under pressure and at very low gradients. The composite is made with an inner core of high-density polyethilene (HDPE), heat laminated on both sides with 2 polyprohilene (PP) geotextiles, providing over 2,0 l/ms in normal conditions.
