Intermas creates the GA warning mesh equiped with the ELIOT technology (Localization and Identification Equipment for Underground Conduit Systems) allowing accurate detection and identification of networks structures located in the ground. A RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag is fixed on the warning mesh in compliance with the NF EN 1263 Standard, making the device detectable and identifiable. The installation of this "2 in 1" product is identical to the implementation of a traditional warning device. Its core functions are:
- A simple and intuitive location that requires no training with an instant precision of between a 1cm to a 1.5 m depth as well as a data display on the IHM screen. It is effective in any environment and for all networks types.
- A simultaneous identification of all Eliot Tags located in the intervention area in a single pass with a time feedback equivalent to the thousandth of a second which avoids any confusion in case of proximity of the networks.
- An integration of the stored information using a combination of the GPS coordinates of each point, embeddable in any SIG.
