We are very proud to announce that Intermas has been awarded with the Gold Medal of EcoVadis for its sustainability development. This medal places the in the TOP 5% companies of the EcoVadis evaluation, improving by 4 points last year evaluation.
The Group has recently presented its strategic project Continuity, focused entirely on Corporate Social Responsibility with the main objective to integrate the CSR strategy into its business model, making the company exemplary in terms of sustainable development and social modernity. The EcoVadis recognition is a new step towards the Group sustainable development and its trajectory.
Intermas Group teams have been constantly focusing efforts on deploying every year actions to ensure a solid sustainable performance across the company's’ value proposition. Thanks to all their work and efforts, results are visible by improving from Silver Medal in 2021 into the Gold Medal in 2022 by the EcoVadis certification. The Group has been focused during 2021 in several Compliance Program Projects integrated in the Governance pillar in ESG. Launching all the projects has ended by improving the Silver rating from 2021, into the new Gold Medal.
EcoVadis is the world's most important and reliable organization for evaluating and qualifying the sustainability of companies. Its methodology allows to evaluate the integration of Corporate Social Responsibility in the company’s management system evaluating 4 main areas: Environment, Social and Human Rights, Ethics, Responsible Supply Chain.
Intermas Nets is assessed annually by this organization through a detailed review of sustainability actions and projects across the group and in its value chain.
Obtaining the Gold Medal is the results of a strong Group with a solid Corporate Social Responsibility integrated in the business model to succeed towards a more sustainable management.
