As part of work to renew the drinking water pipeline in the town of Flée (21), Intermas intervened on the site during a detection demonstration with its warning grids equipped with ELIOT RFID chips (GA ELIOT).
DEMONSTRATION OF GA ELIOT DETECTION ABOVE AEP CAST PIPE
As part of a drinking water pipeline renewal project, the SESAM 21 teams easily and quickly installed the 30cm wide ELIOT Warning Mesh, with a spacing of chips every 6m, above a cast iron pipe .
Once laid, and backfilled, the fleas were correctly detected and identified. A closed dig rewrite test was performed and found to be successful.
In addition to the ease of installation (like a standard GA!), all the participants were able to verify the ease of use of the ELIOT surface reader with very intuitive controls.
Many thanks to Aurélien Picard (SESAM 21), Laurent Tupinier (Inéo/Equans), Thierry Lasperches (Suez), and Miss Lasperches (Suez), for their welcome and the quality of our discussion on the subject.
If you too would like further information on the GA ELIOT range, our construction team is at your disposal.
